Coaching Level 1
Twice a year Hamilton Cricket run a Level 1 Coaching Course. This is a 12 hour examinable course which is run over 5 nights.
This course combines practical sessions and personal study and is intended for those coaches of 11-a-side teams who have some knowledge and/or playing experience of cricket. It focuses on planning, the coaching of skills through the principles of biomechanics, and demostrating an understanding of effective team coaching and the game.
We are inviting you to nominate coaches who you believe are ready to undertake the Level 1 Coaching Course or for you to nominate yourself.
The nominees will have to have completed the ‘getting started’ course prior to commencing the Level 1 Course. In some circumstances this may be wavered if the nominee is a premier player.
